ANALYSIS
ASA Security Analysts possess an incredible amount of real-world experience
and are skilled in identifying potential malevolent acts that may threaten
a particular facility. We can then accurately define the Design Basis
Threat (or maximum credible threat) needed for evaluating existing security
measures, as well as, defining the need for possible security upgrades.
ASA has the ability to quickly gather and analyze current intelligence
information from sources including local, state and federal agencies.
CONSEQUENCE ANALYSIS
ASA can assist in determining the magnitude of the consequences of malevolent
events and rank these events by relative consequence value. The process
of ranking consequences will consider metric values such as: potential
loss of human lives, number of illnesses, loss of critical customers,
economic losses, loss of public confidence, and estimated value for each
malevolent event.
RISK ANALYSIS
ASA can graphically depict current and relative security risk by developing
risk analyses tables. These tables categorize the client’s facilities,
explain their functions and importance to meeting operational objectives;
and list the consequences, both physical and monetary, associated with
the loss, damage, destruction or misuse of these facilities.
RISK REDUCTION STRATEGIES
ASA uses a very effective methodology to determine cost-effective, scaleable
strategies for reducing security risk. Several strategies can be developed
and the risk can be recalculated based on mitigation actions, and the
anticipated effectiveness against the Design Basis Threat.
